How results are calculated

The formulas behind the estimates

Each calculator applies a standard formula to the inputs you provide. Results are estimates and will vary if your rate, tenure, or assumptions change.

1. EMI

EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n ÷ ((1+r)^n − 1), where P is principal, r is the monthly rate, and n is the number of months.

2. SIP future value

FV = P × [((1+i)^n − 1) ÷ i] × (1+i), where P is the monthly investment, i is the monthly return, and n is the number of months.

3. Tax regimes

Tax is computed on taxable income using the slabs and deductions applicable to each regime for the year selected.

Input guide FAQs

What is an EMI? An EMI is the fixed monthly payment toward a loan, covering principal and interest.

Does the SIP calculator guarantee returns? No. It projects growth from the rate you enter and cannot predict actual market returns.

Should I rely on these results for tax filing? Use them for estimation only, check current rules, and speak with a qualified tax professional about your situation.
